Our calendar will contain all of the events going on in the Catholic Committee on Scouting.
Religious Awards Retreat
Each year, our Archdiocese holds retreats for the scouts. The day will reinforce each child’s faith, as nurtured by their respective scouting program. We will grow in our Catholic Christian beliefs by listening, sharing, praying, singing, and playing. The day’s activities are designed to jump start a scout’s endeavors in working toward one of the CCOS awards.

Age Requirements
Will have reached the age of 15 and completed Freshman year by July 1, 2026.
Is below the age of 19 and will not have graduated high school before July 1, 2026.
Chimayo Project
A Scout is Reverent. Starting Holy Thursday, the Knights of Columbus Council at Prince of Peace Church will set up their Way Station on NM Hwy 503. The way station will run from Noon Holy Thursday to Noon Good Friday. Scouts are invited to come and pass out small Crucifixes to the Pilgrims traveling to Chimayo. Scouts, wear your Scout uniform. There are reflective vests to wear during the hours of darkness. There are porta-potties on site. This will be a Scout function, so YPT and the two deep leadership rules apply.
